Aim of the Project

The aim of the project was to enhance the online furniture shopping experience by providing customers with a robust, interactive customization tool. This tool allowed users to visualize and personalize wooden furniture in real time, improving satisfaction, reducing return rates, and seamlessly integrating with the e-commerce flow.

What We Did

We developed an interactive customization tool that allowed customers to personalize wooden furniture by selecting wood finishes and colors in real time, providing dynamic visual feedback with smooth animations and part-specific customization. To enhance clarity, we added dynamic labels to highlight furniture sections, ensuring customers understood their choices. Finally, we seamlessly integrated the tool with Shopify, enabling users to configure products and instantly add them to their cart with all selected options automatically synced.

PROBLEM
Customers had no way to customize wooden furniture styles online, leading to generic purchases and higher return rates due to unmet expectations.

We built a customization interface where users could personalize wooden chairs and tables by selecting different wood finishes and colors in real time—helping them visualize exactly what they’re buying.

Changing the color of different furniture parts was confusing and lacked visual feedback, causing uncertainty during selection. Traditionally, this required a large set of static images for every color and part combination, making the process heavy and inflexible.
